The Collapse I Did Not See Coming

I spent 2 years executing without stopping in China. No real recovery. No structural foundation. Just pure, relentless output in one of the most demanding, fast-paced environments on the planet.

When I finally took my 1st vacation, I did not relax. I slept for 10 days straight. My body had been running a silent emergency for so long that the moment I stopped, it shut down completely.

Instead of listening to what my body was telling me, I panicked. I could no longer see a future in my career, so I did what high-achieving women do. I launched 4 side projects simultaneously to prove to myself I was still capable. I shifted into extreme overdrive.

It triggered a total structural collapse.

What followed was a slow, quiet 2-year descent into clinical depression. I was still in China, surrounded by the noise, the pace, and the relentless forward momentum of a city that never stops, while I was quietly disappearing on the inside. I was managing everything on the outside with flawless execution. I was going through the motions. And I was dying inside my own performance.

I hit rock bottom.

And rock bottom exposed something I could not unsee: no one teaches you how to stop being a high-functioning anxious person. We are taught how to perform. We are taught how to execute. We are taught how to push through the noise. But we are never taught how to truly sustain ourselves — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually — at the level our ambitions demand.

I made a radical decision. I left China. I moved to Mexico — a slower rhythm, a warmer ground, a place where I could finally stop performing and start listening to what my nervous system had been trying to tell me for years.

Over the next 3 years, I rebuilt from the ground up. Somatic Practice. Breathwork. Sound Healing. 15 years of physiological study and 9 years of CrossFit coaching reverse-engineered into a framework that does not just treat the symptoms of exhaustion but dismantles the structural breakdown underneath them.
